Awesome local bar. Stopped in on the way through. Got wings which were amazing. Chiavettas and beef on weck. Both delicious. Great atmosphere. Will be back in next time I'm in town
I am so glad our son in law told us about this place! My husband and I were driving from Northern Virginia to Buffalo for a hockey tournament. We decided to make a little detour for beef on weck wings that came highly recommended from our son in law. Man! They did not disappoint!! Let me just start that when we got there we sat at the bar and had the most lovely bartender. She served us up some local beer and then let us take advantage of the wing special ten minutes early since we were traveling. The beef on weck wings were cooked to perfection and served with the best homemade horseradish sauce. We ended up sitting next to the owner's mother. She was so friendly and made us feel super welcome. We were placing a carry out order after we ate and she suggested the in house made beef on weck rolls. I'm still salivating about them. They were the best snack I have ever eaten and I am totally serious. I would do anything,. ANYTHING, for the recipe. If you are ever near Attica, run don't walk to Louie's . I'd literally make a special trip just to eat there again. I have a couple pictures of the carry out wings after we started digging in (sorry) and the beef on weck rolls. Louie's thank you for your hospitality this past Thursday. We love you!!
Best wings I can remember eating, and I’ve had all of the good ones around Buffalo. Medium size, perfect crisp. I had the chiavettas, buddies had hot and cattleman gold. All were great. Glad we stopped in randomly.
This was not at all what I had in mind, but it was great! First, it's definitely a dive bar and much smaller than I expected. I went for the wings, and they were excellent! The crowd was definitely a group of regulars, and they play 3-ball pool on Wednesdays, so if you get there in time, you're in for a treat. It was like walking into the Cheers bar - everybody knows everyone and they were all super friendly and didn't shun this outsider visiting from Texas. If I'm ever back in the area, you can bet I'll make a return trip to Louie's!
Stopped in at Louie's craving some chicken wings. First time trying wings here. If you like your wings big, meaty, and crispy...then these are it. They're really good.
My goodness, best wings ever - and such an assortment! Their beef on weck was delicious too! A fun place, plus they have a new side entrance with new side parking too. :-)
